Reasons to study abroad

There are many reasons for students to choose abroad studies.Some want to get good education with good values .And some want to earn more money in abroad.Th reason may be anything but many students are preferring abroad studies .The first choice of many students is USA to MS ( Graduation).UK,Australia,Singapore are next choices for abroad studies.Medical students prefer Denmark , Argentina ,Australia .All this is due to globalisation of world.

Types of Visas

Types of student Visas:

We have totally three types of student Visas.They are ..

• F visa: F visa is for academic studies.f-visa is for individual students who wish to study or conduct research at an accredited U.S. college or university.
• J visa:J visa is for exchange visitors
• M visa: The M visa is for those who wishing to pursue non-academic or vocational studies.

To get visa you should have a valid passport with you.

Passport information

To go to abroad you need to have passport.In this post I explain how to get it.

How to apply for passport:

• Get the Passport Application Form.
• Fill the form as per the instructions.

All original documents are to be shown at the time of submission of the passport application form. With the Original Passport Application Form, self-attested copies of all required documents need to be attached.

Where to apply.

1. You can apply in any of the following way.
2. The counter of the Passport office .
3. The Speed Post centers .
4. District Passport Cells .
5. Passport Collection Centers

Certificates to be enclosed:

• Date of Birth proof
• Address proof ( present)
• Study certificate.
• SSc Memo
• Birth certificate

And also we require 3 Passport size color photos with light background.

Visa requirements

• Certificates from previous institutions attended .
• Scores from standardized tests required by the educational institution such as the TOEFL,SAT, GRE, GMAT, etc.
• Financial evidence that shows you or your parents who are sponsoring you have sufficient funds to cover your tuition and living expenses during the period of your intended study.

The above three are neccessary to apply for a Visa.

Various Exams to study abroad

• GRE(Graduate Record Examination) -for any masters or PhD course.
• TOEFL(Test of English as a Foreign Language) - TOEFL is Internet-based Test that tests all four language skills - speaking, listening, reading, and writing.These test is for MS students.
• GMAT(Graduate Management Admission Test)- This test is for MBA students.
• SAT(Scholastic Aptitude Test)-for under graduate studies.
• IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
  it is a paper-based English proficiency test that is a requisite for non-native students for studying in countries U.K., Australia, New Zealand and Canada. It has become a mandatory test for study in Australia.

So select your required examination and start preparing for it now and score well.

Steps to study in abroad

• To study abroad very first you need to to write an exam like GRE and TOEFL or GMAT or SAT depending upon your course .To study in Varsities you need to score well in those exams.
• Then get the Visa and Passport.
• Then you have to apply for different Varsities for seat.They call you for an interview if they are satisfied with your score in GRE or GMAT.If all goes well you will get the seat.
• You will get scholarships if you score well in the exams.
